Overview
The Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems Designer and Installer Skill Set (DIGCPV) is the pathway for licensed electricians to become accredited designers and installers. The course delivers you the knowledge and skills to design and install quality grid connected PV systems. It is your first step into a rewarding solar career and is the beginning of your training pathway into battery storage and off-grid courses.
This course is fully funded by Solar Victoria as part of the Training and Workforce Development program – funded places are limited, so please enquire and enrol early to ensure your place!

Requirements
Applicants must hold an 'Unrestricted Electrician's Licence' issued in an Australian State or Territory and MUST provide evidence of holding an unrestricted electrical licence, prior to enrolment in the course.
4th year Electrotechnology apprentice may be considered for this course, if they have completed TAFE component of training.
Assessment
The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. A range of assessment strategies to meet different student’s needs will be selected, including theory and practical assessments.
