Overview
The Grid-connected Battery Storage Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set is the pathway for licenced electricians to become accredited designers and installers of grid-connected battery storage. This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to design and install quality grid-connected battery storage systems for your customers. It is recommended that you complete the UEESS00194 Grid-connected Photovoltaic Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set prior to enrolment into this course, however older qualifications will be considered.

Please Note: - If you do not satisfy the pre-requiste requirements additional training will be required prior to attending the course. This will involve the completing two additional days (Monday & Tuesday) prior to the 3 day course Wednesday - Friday.
Includes online self-study during the course AND 3 or 5 days on-campus workshops.
Requirements
Applicants must hold an 'Unrestricted Electrician's Licence' , issued in an Australian State or Territory.
4th year Electrotechnology apprentice may be consider for this course, if they have completed UEEEL0039 Design, Install, and verifiy compliance and functionality of general electrical installations; or UEERE0051 Apply electrical principals to renewable energy design completed and provide a statement of attainment.
Prerequisites:- Statement of Attainment for UEERE0061 Design Grid Connect Photovoltaic power supply systems; and UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for Grid Connect Photovoltaic & Battery storage systems
Assessment
The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. A range of assessment strategies to meet different student’s needs will be selected, including theory and practical assessments.
