Thursday, 19 December 2024
Wodonga TAFE proudly celebrated the achievements of students graduating from the Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations last week, a program designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the logistics and warehousing industries.
The course provides students with practical, hands-on training in areas such as inventory management, workplace safety, and team leadership. As part of their studies, many students also obtained valuable industry licences, including their forklift licence or Heavy Vehicle truck licence, setting them apart in the competitive job market.
Peter Bluck, Warehousing Teacher “I’m so incredibly proud of what each of these students have achieved throughout the year! It always inspiring to see the students embracing new challenges and developing during the course. I can’t wait to hear of the amazing careers the students will have!”
The graduates are now equipped to take on a range of roles in industries experiencing significant workforce shortages, with many already securing job offers.
Janelle Cretney, Director Education and Training, “What a fabulous opportunity to celebrate the success of our students with families, friends and teachers. Persistence and a renewed passion for learning has resulted in confident and competent workers who can thrive in their current employment or seek opportunities for career enhancement. We are very proud of the contribution that Wodonga TAFE can make, delivering skilled workers to industries that drive our economy forward.”
