National Early Childhood Educators Day 2024

​Today we celebrated Early Childhood Educators Day with a morning tea for our Kids on Campus staff, Family Day Care educators and their children, and our Early Childhood teaching team. 

Kids on Campus have been collecting words of support and thanks from the parents and carers of the children, and these have been put up on display in the entry hallway of the centre. 

Early Childhood Educators Day acknowledges the vital role that educators play in the lives of young children and their families, in laying the foundation for children's future learning, development and well-being.  

This year's theme is "Embracing Diversity Has Early Beginnings". Kids on Campus and Wodonga TAFE are committed to creating an inclusive space not only for employees but for children and students alike. We recently highlighted one aspect of this in a news article, shining a light on the high number of male educators in our daycare service. 

Thank you to all who came along and helped mark the occasion, and congratulations to Family Day Care educator Dawn who has reached the milestone of 40 years in Family Day Care! How incredible!
