Fundraising Success – Wodonga TAFE donate $2,480 to Albury Wodonga Regional Foodshare
Thursday, 11 July 2024
Wodonga TAFE staff have raised a $2,480 donation for long-standing partner Albury Wodonga Regional Foodshare.
As part of an incentive to complete a statewide government survey focusing on the wellbeing of staff, Wodonga TAFE rewarded each staff submission with a one-off donation to the local charity, resulting in an organisation wide effort to “pay it forward”.
It’s not the first time Wodonga TAFE have worked closely with Albury Wodonga Regional Foodshare, having collaborated on fundraising efforts in the past and working together on environmental and agricultural education with students.
“We are proud to be contributing this donation to a charity that empowers our region, Wodonga TAFE also continues to advocate with Albury Wodonga Regional Foodshare to develop the FoodShare Precinct” - Phil Paterson confirming ongoing plans with Albury Wodonga FoodShare.
FoodShare precinct will deliver a suite of co-located services and integrated educational programs based around the sourcing, preparation and distribution of emergency food to North East Victorian Communities.

The total donation of $2,480 was formally presented to Albury Wodonga Regional Foodshare in the form of a cheque by Wodonga TAFE’s CEO Phil Paterson on 10 July 2024.
