Protected Industrial Action Cancelled - 26 November 2024

Regarding the recently announced stop-work Protected Industrial Action for 26 November:
In the context of strong progress in the negotiations between the Victorian TAFE Association, representing TAFEs, and the AEU, the AEU has determined not to proceed with a 24-hour stop work scheduled for 26 November 2024 and to lift the ban on recording student results and completions. This is a positive step to enable continued constructive negotiations.

Wodonga TAFE recognises the right of a team member to choose whether to participate in protected industrial action and respect the right of staff to express their voice. 

We will continue to keep students, staff and other stakeholders updated regarding the protected industrial action.
