Wodonga TAFE is proud to announce the launch of its Veteran Skills Recognition Program, tailored specifically to support veterans in their transition to civilian employment. In collaboration with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing's Office of Veterans, this program offers a comprehensive pathway for veterans to have their skills recognised and valued in the workforce. The program will cover the cost of the application process, ensuring accessibility for all eligible veterans.
Our Veteran Liaison Officer (VLO) is equipped with knowledge and firsthand experience of Defence doctrine, training methodologies, and transition processes. Understanding the unique challenges faced by veterans during their transition to civilian employment, our VLO serves as a trusted advisor and advocate throughout the process.
The VLO will serve as your primary point of contact between the education departments of Wodonga TAFE or other relevant education providers. With experience in Vocational Education and Training (VET), the VLO possesses an understanding of what an assessor needs and can guide veterans on how to demonstrate their skills and knowledge.
