Th skills learnt throughout this short course are transferable and aim to increase a student’s confidence in the processing of timber projects. With the course being suitable for any skill level it can be enjoyed and benefited from by everyone.
“This course is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain a wide range of woodworking skills that can be used at the home, at work or even applied to future study opportunities,” Jesse Van Egmond, Wodonga TAFE’s Cabinet Making Teacher explains.
“The course is conducted in a relaxed environment, with students having the opportunity to discuss with me any areas of training they are requiring a bit more assistance with, and can even bring in their projects from home for expert guidance if they would like.”
Wodonga TAFE offers Woodworking 101 on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6pm – 9pm with the next Tuesday course date running from 21 February to 30 June and the next Thursday course date running 2 March to 8 June.
