New 'Rural Access Project' - learn locally while you gain skills and confidence for your career
Monday, 22 February 2021
Our new ‘Rural Access Project’ aims to enable students from regional communities to connect into a real time course at Wodonga TAFE in 2021. This pilot project offers participants the opportunity to gain additional skills in retail, customer service, RSA, and food handling, along with a nationally recognised qualification with Certificate III in Tourism SIT30116. Course graduates will be well-equipped for a career - whether they choose tourism, or step into another service industry such as hospitality, retail, or small business.
Click here for Certificate III in Tourism course details, and to apply online.
Commencing in April 2021, this initial course will see students able to connect online via Wodonga TAFE’s virtual classroom to engage in classes with students at the TAFE’s McKoy Street campus. Participation for rural remote students in this course will require reliable access to the internet and a computer with current software. Students will be able to connect from their home computer or visit their local Neighbourhood House for access and support to learn online.
