Developing resources to guide learning and play in Early Childhood

Early Childhood Education

Educators in the Early Childhood sector have an important role in helping children discover that fun and education go hand in hand!

To help guide this learning journey, early childhood educators work hard to develop and build their own kit of resources. This ensures they have lots of ideas and prompts readily available that they can use to encourage and guide children in their care to have fun and to learn at the same time.\

Our Early Childhood Education and Care students here at Wodonga TAFE are on their own learning journey to become professionals in the childcare industry. The students who are completing the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification have been working through the year to develop their own resource kits of activities and aids, as they build their skills and knowledge for their chosen career. The students recently presented their resource kits for assessment, and demonstrated to their teachers how the various resources would be able to be used by children to develop and learn while playing.
