Overview
In response to industry-identified needs Wodonga TAFE is pleased to offer an additional unit of study CHCSS00070 - Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set to add to current qualifications in Aged Care/Individual Support or Disability. This unit defines the skills and knowledge required to prepare for and provide medication assistance, and complete medication documentation.
Please note course requirements: Applicants must have completed the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or an equivalent industry-recognised qualification.

Assessment
The assessments in this unit comprises several practical demonstrations (simulating workplace activities) and written tasks. Some written tasks must be completed in students’ own time.
