Apprenticeships & Traineeships

Apprenticeships and Traineeships play a very important role in supporting the workforce of many businesses, and in helping to grow our economy. As an apprentice or trainee you combine full- or part-time work with training. It is a paid position in a business, so you learn as you earn. When you have successfully finished your apprenticeship or traineeship you will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

For further Traineeship or Apprenticeship information, please contact the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) as your first point of contact for queries about a traineeship or apprenticeshipwww.australianapprenticeships.gov.au/about-aasn.

87.7% of Apprentices and Trainees who completed their training in 2019 were employed afterwards, with those who secure full-time work earning a median annual income of $59 600
